6th-8th grade Toolkit: Veterinary and Human Medicine Comparison



This kit includes: An overview guide explaining how to structure the presentation, a copy of three exciting X-rays, a 10 piece anatomical model set as a gift for the class and 30 goodie bags. The anatomical model set includes an ear, eye, teeth, spine, hair, heart, kidney, hips, knee, and nail. The goodie bags contain the following: a FutureVet pencil, Pet stickers, a bookmark, and a Pet-owner mythbuster. In this presentation you will lead students into an interactive discussion about the similarities and differences between veterinarians and physicians, followed by case studies in which the students play the role of the veterinarian! Through looking at X-rays and learning what questions to ask Pet parents, students will discover how important communication and investigation skills are for a career in veterinary medicine. This presentation is approximately 40-50 minutes in length.

This toolkit is $125 and provides for 30 students.
